The Hungarian adoption process quite smooth, it takes about 18 months from beginning to end, forever if you apply for child under

with the Hungarian adoption, remain in Hungary for up to six weeks.

parents whether they have been approved to adopt in Hungary. Parents have 60 days to submit required documents. After
prospective adoptive parents arrive to meet their child, it takes up to 6 weeks to complete the Hungarian adoption.

Hungary Adoption | Eligibility Requirements For Adoptive Parents

There is no age limit for parents, but Hungarian authorities require that one of the
adoptive parents be under age 45.However, you must be at least 25 years old. Hungarian
law permits single people to adopt, but couples have priority. Couples must be married.

Hungarian children available for international adoption are infants until age 16 are
available, both boys and girls are available, but since most parents adopt girls and their
birthrate is lower, more boys are available. Children under age 2 are typically adopted

there is a long waiting list. The majority of children are between 3 and 6 years old
children older than 6 are also available for international adoption.
