ADOPTION-SOCIAL WORKER
This is an ideal position for employed social workers desiring additional income, or those looking for part time work.
LOCATION: OHIO (Greater Cleveland and Akron area), (Home-based position + travel to families)
COMPENSATION: Per -Piece compensation for Home studies, Post -placement visits, Parent training etc. Hourly rate for other
services.
Education/Licensing:
Successful candidates must have a Masters Degree from an accredited or state approved graduate school in Social Work or
related field (social welfare; marriage, family, and child counseling; child psychology; child development; counseling
psychology; or social psychology), a valid license in Social Work, and have completed Tier I & Tier II Adoption Assessor
Training.
Position Requirements:
•Has two years experience in international adoption, including completion of home studies.
• Must have valid driver’s license & current automobile insurance coverage.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening & occasional weekends when needed for client meetings &
speaking engagements.
• Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on communication skills & public speaking.
• Has facilitated group training sessions.
• Detail oriented, highly organized, self-starting, innovative, articulate, high energy, reliable, team player, & resourceful are
desirable attributes.
• Ability to secure professional liability insurance.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/ADOPTION CONSULTANT
Status: Part Time/Full Time
Location: North Royalton, OH
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be responsible and detail oriented; able to work in a fast-paced ever changing environment. Must be flexible, self-motivated,
and goal/deadline oriented and have excellent communication, customer service skills, organizational, and computer skills. Ability
to exercise good judgment, courtesy and tact in dealing with adoptive families, and other constituents; Must have a sound
knowledge and ability in business correspondence and an ability to proofread for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high
degree of accuracy. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in regard to work performed. Excellent memory and organizational
ability, in order to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task
projects, people and events to get the job done.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties will include but are not limited to;Answering telephone inquiries. Recruit families to adopt children. Maintaining client's file
status. Assists adoptive families with adoption needs, questions, materials, and projects as needed. Receives and responds to all
inquiries regarding adoption programs. Provides case management and adoption dossier assistance. Develops, prints, stocks, and
sends out materials on adoption and travel. Provides personal and/or telephone consultation to all applicants to complete their
dossiers. Reports to the Administrator of the agency; sets priorities, organizes workload, handle multiple responsibilities and meets
deadlines.
Qualifications: High school diploma. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office skills. Keyboarding at 60 timed WPM. Prior experience
working with families in some capacity or adoption experience a plus.
Compensation:
$10.75-$14.75/hourly, contingent upon relevant experience and education.
